Staff Development Program and Research Directions on Grid Computing

It is one day program on Grid Computing technologies and possible research directions which will be held at Ramakrishna Engineering College, Coimbator on 25th June 2009. This program is sponsored by All India Council for Technical Education.

The workshop agenda includes series of talks and presentations on Evolution of Grid Computing, Components of Grid and Research directions in Grid. Introduction to GARUDA as a case study covering Security and Certificate authority of Garuda, Information management, and International collaborations of Garuda.

The one day programme is specifically targeted for Application Developers, Professors, Research aspirants, New grid users, who wish know more about Grid Technology and usage. This program will provide participants with an insight on grid Computing to explore as well as equip them to train their students to meet their challenges in grid Computing.
